New Jerusalem Drug Restoration Center
Established: March, 2000
New Jerusalem is not just a shelter to the homeless, but a way of life in Christ Jesus. Drug-addicted, alcoholics, ex-prisoners, gangsters, destitute, unmarried mothers, single ladies of the night, the abused, etc. – no person is turned away regardless of their race, background, financial or social standing. Through spiritual counseling, hard work and discipline, our residents overcome their addictions with the help of God and become assets to their community when they return.
It is our intention to use New Jerusalem as a base for starting many similar Restoration Centres throughout the whole country. It is advantageous for anyone entering our program at New Jerusalem as they are usually out of options. All that remains for these people are jail, institutes, and living on the streets etc. We do not want them to be a burden to their families and society but to live productive lives which will be socially acceptable. They will then have powerful testimonies and be able to tell others of the good work that the Ark is doing.
Our lecturers at New Jerusalem are all experts in their field as they have all overcome the problems facing those entering our program. All the leaders have completed the program themselves and out of gratitude have decided to stay on and help those arriving with similar problems to their own that they have been healed and set free from.
